Hide feature from FeatureTree depending on conditions
I hope someone can help.
I have an installscript MSI project. The project consists of several features. One feature is an excel addin which can only be installed when excel is installed.
I have defined a condition on this feature is not installed when excel is not present.
However, on a user defined installation or under modify in a maintenance install, the feature is always present in the feature tree.
Is it possible to hide/remove an entry of a feature tree (in a installScript MSI project)?

If nothing else, I believe FeatureSetData supports a FEATURE_FIELD_VISIBLE flag that might be of use.
