Help installing the MDAC 2.8 object in IS 2014

I need the MDAC 2.8 in one of my projects but the object is not installed on my system but the documentation is quite confusing regarding the installation.

Is there any help?

The MDAC28.msm is just a wrapper for the MDAC_TYP.exe from Microsoft.

So download the latest version from Microsoft and add it to your installer.
