Help! Say it ain't so... background images + refresh...

Oh the sinking feeling... This can't be true...

Can anyone confirm if this behavior is normal:

I've removed all the Theme Bitmaps from my MSI dialog and replaced them with one bigger image covering the whole dialog. This image has been 'Sent to back' so all the other controls are on top of it.

The problem is any control which is not a label is not refreshed on the initial showing of the screen... unless you mouse over them... rendering the design completely useless...

Is this true? Any controls (RadioButton, PushButton, SelectionTree, ect) on top of a Bitmap will not refresh correctly at run time? The MSI engine really is that lame (graphics wise at least)?

Perhaps all is not lost; if you haven't yet, please see KB article Q106604, "Making a Control Over a Bitmap Visible"...
