Game Won't Install, Installer acting weird

I have been trying to install bf1942 from a disk and the problem I have been having is that when I launch the setup, it shows one bar, loads, then disappears. I check my task manager and Ikernel is still running. Help?

If you did this, you won't get able to download/install any games, then let you install any games, because it will try to install the games to the weird

instead of installing disc to use the game. why don't you use the game roms now. these games. very easy installation
