Files of same name clobbered by single file installer

I have discovered an interesting bug in ISX2008. We have two sets of three files in our installation that have duplicate names, but are different files. One set of three files in put in a sub-folder of My Documents and the other set of three files is put in a different sub-folder of My Documents. These files are named AND.par, NOT.par and OR.par. There are two versions of each file.

When a Single File Installer is built, ISX2008 'optimizes' the installer set by taking one set of these files and using it for both folders. When a CDROM Installer is built, ISX2008 correctly puts a unique set of these files in each folder.

It appears that the compiler decides that, since the two sets of three files share the same names, it only needs to store one set and use it twice.

DebbieL: Does Macrovision require an example of the above error in order to diagnose and fix this serious bug?
