I'm looking through the InstallScript API and haven't seen anything about extracting files such as .zip, .ear, etc. Is there a built-in function to do this, or would I have to either access the command line or write a custom DLL function?
You're right, unfortunately! There are no such functions. Some people who need zip support use 7zip and start this via LaunchApp. However, a dll that offers this function would be great. Some month ago, I googled around for a free zip dll but without success. Keep me informed when you have smarter ideas. Greetings Jo
