Error with IISRT: -1208
Hello,
I'm using IIS 7 and during the installation of my MSI file I get
Error with IISRT: -1208
Does someone know, which settings I have to make, that this error doesn't occures, because we don't use ( don't want to use ) virtual directories.
The creation of a virtual directory entry doesn't solve the problem.
Some other conjunctions lead to error -1210.
Thanks in advance!
Johannes

This error will occur if you have defined any application mappings on a website or virtual directory and the exec path for any of the mappings is null/empty at runtime.

Thank you Josh for your reply.
We have imported the output of iisscan.exe.
This file includes many mappings without an exec path.
I hoped, that the scanned file would be complete and correct.
By the way, the imported mappings seam to have a format, which isn't good for the UI for editing these mappings and leads to an unknown error and ending of IS 2010.
I will have tests with mappings added by the UI.
Regards!
