Error opening .ilg file

Whenever is try to open any log file i.e. setup.ilg then it gives me the below error.

Description:The Log Database could not be loaded. It is either corrupt or incompatible with this utility.

Can anybody help me out, why is it happenning?

As a test, do you see anything when you select Tools > InstallScript > Log File Viewer?
