hi, yeah, i had the same error message when attempting to instal tiger woods 2005, today. i did the advised actions, deleting instlshld engine and running the free download 'fix'. now when i retry to install tigerwoods, i get this: 'an error occurred while launching the setup (0x80040801). i despair. please help a poor old fart who is part technophobe. i then contact ea, who know of nothing and pass me back to installshield as the culprit, omg, can someone just tell me what to do to fix this pleeeeeeze
