I am trying to Install a new version of my product (Setup build using IS 2008. It is a basic MSI project) to a machine in which an older version exists. The Installation seems to run fine but when i try to execute the application. i get the "MSI file not found error". It returns an error code 1706.
Please could anyone help me in fixing this. What are the changes that i need to do in the setup project.
MY application stores the product key in the registry. While upgrading how to maintain the registry value ? Please helo
