Error 1402 when call .net dll method

hi,guys.
Thanks advanced for your help.
recently we upgrade installshield from 2011 to 2012, but we met an issue when call .net dll method in our installer. And installer will interrupted.
the log is:
MSI (c) (04:AC) [21:11:01:249]: Invoking remote custom action. DLL: C:\Users\Tester\AppData\Local\Temp\MSIC12E.tmp, Entrypoint: f4
Action ended 21:11:07: *our method name*. Return value 3.
Info 2896.Executing action *our method name* failed.
Action ended 21:11:07: InstallWelcome. Return value 3.

Does anyone have idea?

sorry about title error 1402, the error should be 2896 but not 1402
