Error 126 in an updated InstallScript project
I am updating an older InstallScript project that worked fine in IS 12. So, I opened the project in IS 2008 Professional, tried to rebuild, and it complained about the MFC 6.2 object I had included back in the old IS 12 version of the project.
So, I downloaded the new IS 2008 InstallScript Objects file and installed it. Next, I deleted the old MFC object and added the new MFC 6.2 Runtime object (IS 2008 version) to the desired Feature. Now, when I try to rebuild, I get an error 126, "Unable to load properties for InstallShield Object(s): Initial Install\New MFC 6 Runtime 1".
Any ideas how to get around this?

I'm stumped on this one and so far I've found no help in the Knowledge Base.

Since no one has any suggestions, I've decided to solve this by keeping the installer as IS 12 instead of IS 2008. I will just do thorough testing on Vista and hopefully have no problems. I don't need the Windows Logo on this so leaving it as InstallScript will be fine. In the future this product will ship with a Basic MSI installer, but for now there is not time to rewrite the existing installer for this release.
