Error 1152 on running setup.exe /? on command line
Hi,
If I run "setup.exe /?" on command line, help popup appears.
Now a folder named some {GUID} is extracted in "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp".
After this I click OK on help popup, then another popup showing "1152: Error extracting C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\{GUID} to the temporary location" appears and the {GUID} folder
is deleted.
What is the problem ?

Can anyone from IS reply to this thread?
I am having the same problem described here.
Actually typing "/?" after the "Setup.exe" is not required to get this error. You only need to type "any" character after "Setup.exe" and you will see this problem.
After looking at an "installshield.log" (enter /debuglog on the command line) it shows that the temporary folder that is used to display the help information is removed. However, Setup.exe proceeds to try and extract files to this folder in an effort to extract and run the associated "msi" file.
Should this be happening? If an invalid command line entry is used, shouldn't the help text be displayed and then Setup.exe terminates?
Any help on this would be GREATLY appreicated.
