Environment variable not effective after installation.
Hi all,
I have set a Environment variable (Ex: MyDir) in MSI project. But this variable is not effective after installation. To take effect i have to restart or LogOff->LogIn PC.
The way i tested: After installation, in command prompt i entered %MyDir%, it is not showing the right path. Only after restart or LogOff->LogIn, it is showing the path.
Is there a way to make the Environment variable to take effect without Restart/LogOff->LogIn?
It would be of a great help if any is able to help me at the earliest.

If you had open the cmd before you started the installation, this windows will not included your new settings.
You need to start a new cmd windows to get your new settings.

Rune
