Entry not seen in add/remove programs

hi,
whenever i try to copy files from the gui of the installshield, the application's entry is seen in add remove programs but if i do the same thing by xcopy api the entry is not seen. Can anybody help on this?:mad:

Could you please detail it? From the XCopy means that you are performing some custom action? if so how it is done? what type of project?

Entry in ARP is created after OnMoving() event only. Is ur project in InstallScript?
