Dynamically changing shortcut display name
Hi, I am using InstallShield 2018 R2.
I was wondering if the following is possible. I've looked around and cannot find an answer, I created 2 shortcuts, one on Desktop and Start menu. The display name is set as a string resource (e.g. App). On certain occasions I would like to be able to change this to something different (e.g. App Pro). I am wondering if it is possible to dynamically change a shortcut Display Name field at runtime.
I've been looking at the use of Properties and have tried to place them into the string resource file, but not sure if this is possible.
Is it possible to dynamically update a shortcut Display Name field at runtime.
Thanks
Phil.
