Dont want to Remove files on uninstall.....!!!!!
Hi ,
I am working on Install Shield 10, SP1 . In this installer i am packaging .NET Dlls, COM Dll's , XMl's, sql scripts .
I am creating this installer as a Upgrade. And i want the installer to behave in such a manner that file's insalled during this upgrade should not be removed when i uninstall it.
Can any one guide me on this... !!!!
Actually i am new into install shield..., so ur help is highly solicited.

Perhaps, disable(LOGGING) is what you are looking for.

make the Permanent option to Yes for the components which are associated to those files, which you do not want to remove during uninstallation process.
