DirectX object not installing d3dx9_42.dll
My installscript project installs DirectX 9.0c as part of it's installation (via the "Application Data->Objects" section. This does display a dialog during installation saying that it's installing directx. However, this doesn't create the d3dx9_42.dll anywhere on the target machine's harddrive, which our game requires. Installing the official Microsoft DirectX redist does install this file.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
Thankyou for any help with this,
Dan.
