Delete Folders Before Installing
Hello All,
We currently have clients going from one version of our product to a newer version. I am noticing that not all files are being removed via Add/Remove Programs and I am wondering if there is some way to manually clear these files upon installing the new version?
Because some folders contain configs that cannot be deleted we would also need a way to aviod deleting certain files or folders. Can IS 2008 accomplish this in some way?
Thanks Again,
Adam

What type of project? If MSI, you can for example use the RemoveFile table to delete files during installation (or uninstallation, or both)...
