I have an interesting problem that I want to post here to check if anyone else has the same problem. We have made an SetUp file with InstallShield 2013 that was released 2013-10-01. Everything works fine and we have slightly more than 1000 installations. Today 2013-10-08, suddenly 6 different customers have an error that is traced to this line in the log: CustomAction WriteOldDirectoriesToProperties returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox). WriteOldDirectoriesToProperties has not been changed for a couple of years and accesses a file and some registry settings. All 6 customers seem to have non admin accounts.
