Custom action running in uninstall but shoudl not
Hi,
I have a custom action that reads the registry and populates a control on a dialog window. Everything works great on insall, but the custom action fires during uninstall. As far as I can tell I have everything set to not have it fire during uninstall.
Sugestions?
Nate

Have you conditioned the custom action not to run on uninstall.

Under common properties of your custom action, you should set "Run During Patch Uninstall" properties to NO. Hope this works.

For the custom action, defining "Not Installed" for the Condition explicitly states that the CA is to execute only during a first-time install. That should resolve your issue...
