Custom action in Vista
Hi,
In my Installation I am running a custom action that launches an executable.
I need to run that executable as an administrator under Vista.
Does anyone know how to do so? Is there a way to define a custom action to run as administrator?
Thanx,
Y.

If you're talking about a Windows Installer (MSI) project, setting your action for deferred execution in system context will run it with elevated privileges, assuming the installer has been set up or deployed properly.
The MSI topic "Installing a Package with Elevated Privileges for a Non-Admin" has more information.
