I am in need of some guidance. Here is what I have. I created a custom dialog that can be populated from user input via the property [Prod_IP] which writes to the HKLM\Software\ folder. The issue I have is if the user needs to do a silent install where can i pull that data from? I have a .reg file that i could use to import or i could store it in a .ini file. How does one manually read the data and populate the registry from that file upon silent install?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I am new to installshield but do have powershell and VB scripting experience. Any samples would be greatly appreciated.
