Hello. I looking to see if there is any way to perform a custom action that will execute NGEN against output of the MSI (without having to write an console app that gets executed).
In VSI you could create an inherited class that could determine what was included in the package, then execute NGEN on the items within. Is there any equivalent for that in ISLE?
This can be achieved in InstallShield Premier and Professional Edition by setting the “.Net Precompile Assembly” option in the Component view to “Yes”.
In InstallShield Limited Edition this option is not available.
