Creating MSI package that calls batch file
Hello all,
I am a completely "green" in regards to this software. Our company purchased it and gave it to me.
The scenario is that I want to create a basic MSI. The folder has exe files, config files etc. There is a "run me" bat that calls those files and puts them in folders on a drive and creates a service.
Is this possible to do with this software?

MSI provides built-in functionality to copy files, create and start service. It is recommended to take advantage of these functionalities instead, since it offers built-in rollback and uninstallation capability. Running the "run me" batch file is not recommended.
