Create IIS 7.0 Application
Hello,
We recently upgraded to IS 2009 for support with IIS 7.0 for our web application. In IIS 6.0 we used IS 2008 to create an application pool and virtual directory. After installing the new .MSI in windows server 2008 it looks like the application pool is created. But in IIS 7.0 we will need to create an "application" instead of a "virtual directory".
Currenlty neither a virtual directory or application is being created.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Adam

Ok this is my fault I didnt realize it was creating an application because it reset the name I had given it.
Please make sure that you reset the "Application Name" in the virtual directory tab of the IIS section.
This is now resolved
