Conditional Desktop Shortcut
Is there a way to programmatically (Installscript) add a desktop shortcut that is not a folder?
I know that I can add shortcuts through the Installation Designer but I want to conditionally add a shortcut to the desktop that is NOT a folder, rather a shortcut to an application.
AddFolderIcon seems to be the only way to programmatically add a shortcut but it only has folders as an option.
Thanks in advance for any help that the community can provide.

The shortcut target you set in AddFolderIcon doesn't need to be a folder; it needs to be in a folder, of course, but the target can be anything. Please see the various AddFolderIcon examples in the online help.
