I was enhancing and existing project that installs MDAC and SQL Express 2005 as prerequisites. For testing I removed all prerequisites, since the enhancement didn't require them. But after I add them back into the project by just checking them in the "Redistributables". Now when I build a single exe in Release Wizard, even when selecting "Compress All Files", these two "Redistributables" are not included in the setup.exe! What did I do?!?!?!
Found it. If you right-click on the prerequisite and select Properties there are two options. One is Build Location, which offers a dropdown with the option "Extract From Setup.exe".
