Commit Execution CA's not Executed on Vista
I have several CA's scheduled for Commit Execution in a 3 different install packages. All worked fine with IS 2009. After upgrading to 2010 these work on XP but not on Vista. Is anybody else seeing this? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ron

If you create an MSI log file and search for the action names, is there any more information?

I guess the biggest clue is that there is a pop up message saying that Windows Installer encountered an error and has to close. Do you want to send report to Microsoft, etc (Vista only).
The Microsoft logs seem to only contain info about the machine, etc.
The IS log contains:
Action 10:17:09: CAUpdatePath.
Action start 10:17:09: CAUpdatePath.
CAUpdatePath:
Action ended 10:17:09: CAUpdatePath. Return value 1.
MSI (s) (10:90) [10:17:09:148]: Skipping action: CARemoveFromPath (condition is false)
Thanks, Ron
