OK HERE IS MY PROBLEM.. I have used the search file method to to find the path for my installation! searches all disks for a file called xxxxx.exe and if it find it the installation progress is FINE! BUT if the setup cant find that file then the setup is aborted and doesnt give me the option to change manually the path for my installation!!!
WHAT IAM MAKING WRONG? I have make a custom action that changes the path using the stored result from the "search file" method. and that CA i have put it to execute sequence after the cost finalize!
i dont want to abort my setup process if the setup cant find the path of the file ant ideas?
Either add your CA is UI sequence, before your installation selection path is displayed, or call installation folder selection dialog from your CA, if file is not found.
