Cannot find dependencies when adding an application file.
I have created a c# program in Visual Studio 2008. It was developed using 3rd party components and some other components I have written. Relevant dll's have been installed in the GAC. The program runs successfully and knows where all its dependencies are.
I then have set up a new installation in InstallShield. When I go to Application Files and add my executable, it asks whether I want to add dependencies ... I say yes to all. The Static Scanning Wizard then returns the dependencies. Unfortunately they are all marked as ***Missing File***. I don't understand why InstallShield sees these dll's as missing. Can someone help?
Rob.

So ... nobody knows why?
I have tried the same thing with InstallShield 10 on a different computer and it all works fine.
Surely other people have had the same problem!

I actually know that you can write the dependencies in the direct editor.
i would like to know how you did it in a different way.

When I add an application, InstallShield offers to add all dependencies ... thats all.
However I can't get it to work in InstallShield 11.
