Can't stop xml changes during Repair.
IS 2008 Basic project.
I have 2 components,
One that installs an xml file.
One that is associated to a "xml file Changes" entry for the above component.
I can't seen to find a way to leave this file in its original state during a repair.
The entry is
Where test is determined at install time. The Value of test is persisted.
No matter what I set the condition to on the 2 conponents I cannot end up with the original xml file. It either deletes the file completely or I get duplicate entries in the xml file or better yet it deletes everything except the above entry.
Grrrr!

Try placing a condition on the "ISXml*" custom actions so that they will only run on first install. Maybe something like "Not Installed" for example.
