Best practices for services?

Hi,

I'm quite new to InstallShield and am looking to what's the best way for making an installer that also has to install a few services.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you start by looking at Basic MSIs using the ServiceInstall and ServiceControl tables (in the Setup Design view under Advanced Settings for the component containing your service executable).
