Basic MSI and InstallScript MSI

Hello.

I would like to ask your opinions about Installshield projects types "Basic MSI" and "InstallScript MSI".

What are the pros and cons of these projects types?

From my experience, I would suggest avoiding InstallScript MSI unless you have a compelling reason to use it. A Basic MSI with custom actions, if needed, is easier to maintain, upgrade, and service, in my opinion. (And I would suggest avoiding custom actions for anything that can be accomplished throught the MSI tables.)
