Does Automation Interface provide access to duplicate files? I would like to scan the project for identical files and replace them with duplicate files. I know how to do the first part, but how to create duplicate files?
For the record - the solution is in using Windows Installer API. Since .ism file is nothing but renamed .msi plus ton of custom IS* tables, it can be opened and manipulated as any msi, and Installer API gives SQL access to all tables.
