Application popping up the installer dialog

Hi

I'm having a strange problem with the installer of our application, basically I install the application under a Windows XP SP3 Home using the admin user and it installs successfully. However after I switched to a regular user and ran the application, it pop up the installer dialog saying that there are some missing components on the application and it ask for the path to the original installer. If I click Cancel the application runs perfectly so there weren't missing components, I checked the registry keys and everything seems to be fine.


Any ideas why the dialog is shows up?

Check the windows event viewer, it will ussually tell you what triggered the installer to popup.

Thanks, the event window told me which component was calling the installer window. I just remove it and the application works perfectly 🙂
