I have noticed that there is an 'Always Overwrite' feature for individual files in MSI projects. This feature is apparently absent from Installscript projects. Is there any way that I can utilize this functionality in Installscript? (I know that this particular feature does not exist in Installscript installers, but is there something else that would work similarly?)
InstallScript projects have an Overwrite setting for a component. So, perhaps you can isolate the file that needs to be always overwritten to a special component. Then you can set the Overwrite setting for that component to Always Overwrite.
