Adobe Reader redist
Let me just apologize first off if an Installshield forum is not the proper place to discuss switches for 3rd party software, but if it IS, the help is much appreciated.
I am redistributing Adobe Reader 8.0 under 2 different circumstances: No existing Adobe Reader software on target machine, OR upgrading (if user agrees) to Adobe Reader 8.0 from pre-existing 6.0 or 7.0 versions on target machine.
The fresh install to a machine functions silently with the "/SALL /RS" switches, which is the behavior I want.
The upgrade still shows an interface, prompting the user to REPAIR OR REMOVE even with the "/SALL /RS" switches.
Any idea on how to suppress the Adobe Reader installation interface when a prior version of Adobe Reader already exists on the target machine?
