Admin Install Removes the digital signature.
Admin Install Removes the digital signature
I am working on a bug. If I run and admin install /a and then run the MSI it produces. The digital signature is removed.
In case anyone asks, Yes, I clicked sign windows installer package. The original MSI is signed and the resulting MSI from an admin install is not signed.

Please see, for example, help topic "Digital Signatures and Windows Installer": http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa368289%28VS.85%29.aspx.
Performing an administrative installation removes the digital signature from the package. An administrative installation modifies the installation package in order to add the AdminProperties stream, which would invalidate the original digital signature. An administrator can resign the package.
