Add or Remove Program settings

I know that with the suite you can specify that you do not want an entry in the 'Uninstall or change a program' screen. Is this same option possible with a Basic MSI Installer? I have a Basic MSI Installer project that runs a sql script. I don't necessarily want to give the users an option to uninstall it. I know I can take away the uninstall option, but I would prefer to take out entry completely.

Perhaps, ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT property is what you are looking for.

I was hoping I was overlooking an option within install shield. I would rather remove the key entirely, versus just hiding it.

Thanks for those, I will dig into them. Very new to Installshield so I wasn't sure how much of old the versions were still applicable.

Those actions mentioned are Microsoft Windows Installer standard actions. Version of InstallShield used would not influence the implementation in this regard.
