2010 adds each file rather than just those that have changed
Hello,
I wonder if someone can help me, I'm new to the forum and new-ish to InstallShield. I basically push the buttons I was told to and don't really know about the internal workings ... and no one else here does either.
I moved from IS2008 to 2010 recently and all sorts of weird stuff happened. Files from our package were mysteriously not getting added to the update we were running, the update size was suddenly huge, the PatchCreation.log suddenly jumped from 80KB to 9.85MB.
It seems to be adding each file, whether or not it was added and this has led to problems with the custom actions and the 2715 errors.
Is there a setting I have missed out on? I'm doing the same process as we had for 2008 and I think I must have missed something.
Please please please help.

You need to look on the InstallShield site for information about migrating from IS 2008 to IS 2010. There are changes you may need to make depending on what type of projects you have.
