want to rollback previous version if update fails for new version and want to update zerog while rollback
i have a product for example version - 6.0.0, i want when i update to 6.0.1 using installanywhere update option and in any case if it fails it shoul go back go 6.0.0 state again. current rollback only uninstalls current 6.0.1 directories but do not retain old version directories. i tried uisng a backup file but unable to find a way for updating zerog file does installanywhere provide something that can be used.
we have updated the version and have installed old version from backup , services are installed we just need to update zerog registry for old version. as when installer closes it updates the registry for new verion only which is already rolled back
