"Could Not create the JVM"

I'm a newbie to installAnywhere. Converting from ISMP5 to InstallAnywhere8.
I have a InstallAnywhere installer built and when i runit , I get:
"Could Not Create the Java Virtual Machine".

Do I need to set "JAVA_HOME" to select what jvm to use?

Are you trying to use a jvm that is bundled into the installer or trying to use the Java that is on the machine? It could possibly be a permissions problem if you are unable to extract the jvm you are including.

I resolved this by changing

Project-> Java _> Bundled Virtual Machine

From "Install Bundled Virtual machine = Always"
to "Install Bundled Virtual machine = only when installing a LaunchAnywhere"
