Windows Service Stop - Shutdown hook not triggered
Windows Service and java shutdown hook
When you stop the windows service created by Install Anywhere, it does NOT trigger the shutdown hook.
Any suggestion to overcome this?

Hi pasamy,
Any Service which Installanywhere either creates or Runs/Stops does not have a shutdown hook associated with it.
The alternative is that u can add windows Restart action wherever it should be applicable as per your requirement and Set rules to perform at certain conditions.
Hope this Helps!
Thanks,
Madhav Pai
