Vista - Install Complete Restart does not restart
Have Vista AC off and done an install.
The last part of the Installer Post-Install process I have a Panel named "Install Complete". On this panel I have the checkbox "Show restart needed messages (Windows only) checked.
When I do an install the panel shows restart now an later radio buttons. I select "now" and click the button to continue/finishes and windows is not restarted, but the installer does exit.
Anyone got issues with this functionality in InstallAnywhere 2008 VP1 Enterprise?
Going to create a simple test installer with a Restart action and see if Windows reboots. The wndows version is Windows Vista Business on a new dell laptop. Will also try installing window update patches and see if any differences.

Think problem may be because you need a "Restart Windows" action after the "Panels" "Install Complete" and "Uninstall Complete" as the panels just set variables and do not do the acton.
Got confused where I think/thought I read the panel had to be the last item in the list.
