There is a requirement to retrieve the vendor information provided in the Description sub task. The vendor information is to be retrieved in a pre-install sequence. Is there any predefined variable/API through which the vendor information could be accessed?
AFAIK, there isn't anything like this, but personally I don't see the purpose of such a requirement, knowing that the creator of the installer fills those fields, so the information should have been known.
