VM Pack: AMD 64 bit vs Intel 64 bit

Hi All,

Does any one has idea why Installanywhere software has different types
of vm packs for 64bit: AMD 64 bit and Intel 64 bit.

When searched in the Oracle there is only only one 64 bit JVM and there is no such AMD and Intel 64 bit Jvms..

Any help is greatly appreciated..

It's true that this doesn't make too much sense, there doesn't seem to be any difference. However, VM packs from Flexera Software are so obsoleted that it's better to make custom ones anyway.
