Urgent: How to add custom panel

I'm using InstallAnywhere 2010 Standard SP1. I wrote a custom panel following the example under CustomCode dir.

In advance builder -> Pre-Install section, there is Pre-Install Action List. I click 'Add Action...' button, the pop-up 'Choose an action' dialog showed up.

There are two tabs in this dialog, one is General, the other is Panels. I couldn't find an option for me to add custom panel.

I tried to add 'Execute Custom Code', specifying the jar and class to execute, but after building the installer, the custom panel wasn't show up.

I searched document and this board, couldn't find any answer.

Seems there is a really simply step I'm missing. Please help!

Thanks.

Hi NathanW,

Under the 'Panels' tab, you can find 'Panel: Custom Code'. You need to select it and provide your class name as well the Jar file in which the class resides.

Hi Rangarao,

Attached is the screenshot after I click 'Add Action...' button. As you can see, there is no such 'Panel: Custom Code' option for me.

Thanks.

HI nathanw,

I see you are using InstallAnywhere Standard which do not have support for Custom Code Panel. This feature is available only in Enterprise Edition.
