To where the files will go in 64Bit env. if it is a 32Bit installer???
Hi,
I am installing a 32Bit installer in a 64Bit environment:
32Bit installer on 32Bit environment -> files will go to \Program Files only
32Bit installer on 64Bit environment -> files will go to \Program Files(x86)--if installation drive is C:\
and my question is:
32Bit installer on 64Bit environment -> if installation drive is not C:\ then where the files will get created? in D:\Program Files or D:\Program Files(x86) ?

After all, if you give the end-user the choice, the files can go wherever they want (the C:\Program Files (x86) is only the default folder but nothing prevents the end user to override that and force the installation in the C:\Program Files if they want that; moreover, there are installers that are not aware of the 64 bit environment and by default they can offer only C:\Program Files)
