Stop Service and shutdown hook
There is an old feature request of InstallAnwhere (documented in detail in ZeroG's cummunity in 2002:
http://community.zerog.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?s=4875c4a55b2bffff;act=ST;f=16;t=762;st=0
If you use an IA Launcher as a Windows service and you stop the service, the launcher should at least call the shutdown hook, so that the launcher is able to shut down other processes, that he started.
I tried with IA 2008, but it seems as if it is still not implemented.
Does anyone know about a "work around"?
Thank you in advance.
Peter

There was a workaround in the thread: http://community.zerog.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=13;t=1793;st=0;r=1#entry6405 you may have missed!
